Waaa FAQ
Last updated: 2026-11-08
Waaa (واااء) is an Arabic-first baby feeding tracker shared by both parents, grandparents and the nanny. Here are short answers to the questions we hear most.
What is Waaa?
Waaa (واااء) is an Arabic-first baby feeding tracker for iPhone, made in Saudi Arabia. It logs a feed in one tap, counts down to the next feed, and is shared by both parents, plus grandparents and the nanny with Waaa Family.
Can both parents share feeding times for free?
Yes. Waaa is free for both parents, with no ads. A feed logged by one parent shows up on the other’s phone right away, with who logged it.
Can the nanny use Waaa in her own language?
Yes, soon, with Waaa Family: the nanny logs feeds in Filipino, Indonesian, Swahili or Amharic, as well as Arabic and English, with no location tracking and no camera.
Does the next feed show on the Lock Screen?
Yes. The countdown shows in Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, in a Live Activity 30 minutes before the feed, in Control Center and in CarPlay.
How do I time breastfeeding on each side?
Tap breastfeeding to start the timer, switch between left and right, and tap stop when done. You can also start the timer from the widget or Control Center.
How much does it cost? Are there ads?
The essentials are free forever, with no ads. Waaa Family is coming soon at 15 SAR a month with a 7-day free trial, or 110 SAR once. Prices are per household.
Does it work on Android?
The Android app is in testing and comes to Google Play soon. Until then Waaa runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
Do I need an account or phone number?
No account is needed to start. Sync uses a family code sent as a link.
Where is my data stored? Is it sold?
Your logs are stored on your phone and synced only with the family members you invite. We don’t sell data, show ads or use third-party trackers.
Does Waaa replace medical advice?
No. Waaa is an organising and logging tool and gives no medical advice. Talk to your pediatrician about your baby’s health.
